Kelsey we missed you! Now, get creative!

Here's just a basic thing that could be used in tiling the background.

Oh, and seeing as I've done the tracing, I'll post that pic of just the word Culty so that folks can use it if they want...

and the spider colty -

Thanks, I'm going to use the traced  one in my background for now. I like how it's turning out, really hope it can be aligned though, because it's a border. Elmoo, maybe you could give me the power to play around with the coding? You can take it away again after I'm done and coppy the old coding just in case.

Okay, so if it can be done, I would align this on the right, so  we have chris and colty looking out over our posts.

Very good! I'd like to think it could be done but I've looked through some of the help topics and the how-to comments and it's not obvious! People can put banners up, but I'm not entirely sure I get it, and most of the help topics were people complaining they couldn't!

I  used a border on my  life-journal and this looks very similar, layout-wise. If there is room for coding, it must be possible. If it's just  paste-your-url-here and we'll repeat it a million times, well than suck it aimoo :P No, I'll just make a bigger picture, but it'll take longer to load and I don't want that either.

I just created my own community called kbtestculty so that i could play with adding backgrounds, banners etc and I got totally lost and failed miserably!! Lyanne, I think you should give it a go - make your own brand new community so you can work out what you're doing, and if you're successful, then tell Elmooo how to do it! I can't even see how to delete my community now...

Good idea! I just send a piece of coding to elmooo through the message-service, don't know if that worked. But I really wouldn't know about the banners, so I'm going to make my own com.

And I love your drawing Kelsey, you have real talent!

Has anyone tried the chat btw?

Lyanne you're a f***ing genius!!! How the hell did you do it? Am I asleep? I can normally figure these things out fairly quickly... That does look super-cool! I love it! But you must tell me how!!!!!!!

Ehrm okay, probably good to write this down:

For the banner, go to 'forum setting' then 'Style' and then 'Customise HMTL' and then just a simple img code.

I'm not sure where to go for the background yet. But I will find it, if it's the last thing I do.

Oh btw I chose the Goofy one, but if you all want one of the others just holler.

I DID that!!!!! It doesn't like me! I could get a background image, but not a header....

I think background was under My Skins or something and edit the default.

You're a genius! Yay for someone who knows what they're doing!

I feel so lost with the bg though :s
But way to get me not involved in the who-chris-belongs-to-topic, because: He's mine!

No, no, no. People, come on, he's mine!

Maybe I didn't do it right - I stuck the image location in rather than a code- where do you get the code???

I can't even see where you'd find that, so I'll admit to being in over my head and will stop randomly pressing buttons! Now, how do I delete my test community? Hmmm...

Lyanne, if you sacrifice load time, a good solution would be to create a background the width of the page with your colty and Chris "no towel-lovers" picture at both sides or just one side  and the background you want in the middle.

I know, but I could never make that look good on all monitor sizes... So tell me, how big is yours?

I do NOT want a bigger "happy stick"... why do you have to bring this up? Hehe, yahoo mail seems to have gone mad and I am getting  a lot of emails about said subject!

My monitor is 17 inches, how will that help?
