Omg, you guys pay way more attention than I do - maybe I need to actually watch the eps instead of eating dinner whilst watching...

Anyhoo, I was wondering if these time pockets are the only way back to the island, how does that work exactly? What I mean is that I assumed that the time pocket the woman in the church mentioned, that was going to remain open for 36 hours, would take them back to present-day-island-time, on the island. But they seem to have travelled back in time, to when the Dharma Initiative still operates - even though it is Jin. But what implication does that have? If their return stabilises the time shifting, then does that mean they're now stuck in Dharma time, and, because it's all loopy and planes (of existence not airplanes), there will be another time line running in which flight 815 crashes as we've already seen? Which means they all have to take on positions with dharma somehow and never return to the present?

Where's Bill? And why isn't he explaining this is video and diagram format?!
